On Sunday, May 26, we will welcome Bp John Bauerschmidt, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of TN, to Trinity.  Bp. Bauerschmidt will celebrate and preach at both services and confirm and baptize at the 9:30 am service.

Vacation Bible School CANCELLED for 2013

The Executive committee decided at its May meeting to cancel VBS for this year with the following in mind:  

-Adequate numbers of volunteers have been difficult to recruit for the past year or so and have not been forthcoming so far this year. 

-We do not yet have our new Youth Leader in place, and Lisa Telford has huge family responsibilities at this time.

-The time commitment required for the Strategic Planning Committee’s work and implementation of immediate initiatives over the next 3-4 months will continue to be extensive; and these will soon involve many others from the congregation.

We do not want to offer anything but quality programming to our children, and this would be next to impossible to achieve at this point. If you need assistance in finding a nearby church that is holding VBS, please contact Mickey or Dorothy.

God is doing many new things here at Trinity, and we look forward to next year with its promise of revitalized and new offerings for all ages!  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
