From the Rector: Formation Update
Posted on September 8, 2021
To our Trinity Family,
COVID continues to challenge our community as we face record-setting case rates and hospitalizations. Many in our congregation have been deeply affected by this current wave of the delta variant, many of us are mourning losses. Because of this, I feel that now is not the appropriate time to resume in-person Christian Formation on Sunday mornings AND Wednesday evenings. (Effective immediately: Wednesday Bible Study. Children of Trinity/Nursery, and Compline will not take place tonight. Choir members will be contacted for details.) Coffee Hour will also be suspended until further notice. These formation and fellowship building activities will resume when a flattening of COVID numbers can be observed. Stay tuned for some virtual formation options.
We continue to ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing when indoors on Trinity’s campus.
This is a painful setback, but we are committed to holding Trinity up as a healthy and safe place for all. I invite you to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns. I ask your prayers for our church’s leadership. It is a tough time to be making difficult decisions. Continue to pray for our community’s medical workers, educators, and other essential workers.
