IN-PERSON WORSHIP SUSPENDED
October 30, 2020
Through much prayer and consideration, Trinity has made the decision to suspend all in person worship starting this Sunday, November 1 until further notice. We are also stepping back to Phase 2 of our re-opening plan.
Unfortunately COVID cases in The United States, including Tennessee and Montgomery County, are rapidly increasing. Over the last week alone, Montgomery County has averaged 57 new confirmed cases per day. While we have instituted stringent protocols for our in person worship, the safety of our congregation is our first priority. Based on the exponential rise of COVID cases in our community, Trinity feels that it is the best interest of our congregation to temporarily suspend in person worship.
We will continue to stream the 10 o’clock service and will have Holy Eucharist with Spiritual Communion this Sunday online only. We encourage ALL to gather online for Sunday worship as well as Wednesday Evening compline, small groups, check-ins and all the other virtual gatherings that people across our church have devised to stay connected and to share God’s love.
Remember that we are all in this together. Pray for one another, and pray especially for the physically and economically vulnerable people who are hardest hit by this epidemic. Thank you for your perseverance and your continued willingness to sacrifice for those most in need.
The 10 am service this will be streamed to Trinity’s YouTube Chanel.
