All in-person Sunday worship has been suspended until further notice. Below are ways in which we are staying together and connected through the Advent Season. We hope you will join us in as many ways possible.

Sunday Morning Prayer with Lighting of the Advent Wreath

We will continue to stream the 10 am Sunday Morning Prayer via YouTube. Make sure you subscribe to Trinity’s channel so that you will receive alerts and notifications. Being a subscriber also helps in finding and viewing videos on that channel:

Look for some new faces as we are asking various families and individuals to say the prayer for each Advent Sunday lighting of the candle.

Journeying the Way of Love: An Advent Curriculum

We will be Journeying the Way of Love for the Advent Season. Journeying the Way of Love offers four sessions to be explored as we await the coming of Christ by moving through the first two chapters of the Gospel of Luke. Luke’s gospel provides a pattern for understanding how we can live the Way of Love as individuals, as families and friends, as a community, and out in the world.

We will gather by Zoom 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings (in place of coffee& conversation) starting November 29. The Zoom link is the same as the coffee & conversation link (invite below).

A Global Advent Calendar

For the seventh year in a row, #AdventWord will gather prayers via a global, online advent calendar. Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) in partnership with Forward Movement is offering 27 daily meditations and images during this holy season beginning Sunday, November 29. During a year of disparate worship and communities of prayer, AdventWord offers a way to reflect and pause for the Advent season and await the birth of Christ.

Gathering a worldwide community, #AdventWord provides a daily meditation, visual image, and invites your personal reflections via social media to share your own Advent journey. Thousands have participated each year, responding to the words with photos, written responses, crafts, drawings, poems, found art, and Holy Spirit-filled posts.
