wELCOME TO THE TEAM AT TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH!

At Trinity, we believe that the success of our church is built on the strong foundation of our dedicated and talented team. Our team of leaders, volunteers, and staff work together to create a vibrant and inclusive community that supports spiritual growth and serves the needs of our members.

TRINITY'S TEAM

Clergy

The Rector is the priest in charge of a parish. The rector is the ecclesiastical authority of the parish. The rector has authority and responsibility for worship and the spiritual jurisdiction of the parish, subject to the rubrics of the BCP, the constitution and canons of the church, and the pastoral direction of the bishop. The church and parish buildings and furnishings are under the rector's control. The rector or a member of the vestry designated by the rector presides at all vestry meetings.

Staff

Trinity's staff is here for you and made up of one full time parish administrator, two part time nursery staff, and two part time musicians: the choir director and organist.

Vestry

The Vestry is the governing board of the parish under the direction of the Rector and Senior Warden of the Vestry. Each member of the vestry is voted in for a 3 year term. New members are voted in at our Annual Meeting. If you are interested in becoming a member of our Vestry, please speak to the Rector or a current member.

Parish Ministries Council

The mission of the Parish Ministries Council, in support of the Mission of Trinity Parish, is to assist the Clergy in coordination of the internal and external ministries of Trinity Parish: Worship, Formation, Outreach, Parish Life, Pastoral Care, Stewardship, and Communications.

The Rev. Chad McCabe

Rector

Office: 931-645-2458

I am originally from the “other” Montgomery County in the great state of Maryland but my adventures in ministry have led me to live and serve in varied communities such as the National Capitol Washington D.C. region, as well as Colorado, and Massachusetts.

Prior to serving in full time ministry, I worked for the Department of Homeland Security for 14 years, and the U.S Armed Forces. Currently, in addition to serving as a Rector here in Massachusetts, I am also a chaplain with the 101st Engineer Battalion in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and looking forward to transferring over to the Tennessee Army National Guard when we arrive to Clarksville. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., and am currently a doctoral candidate at Duke University in Durham, NC.

I have been blessed by God to have been married to the love of my life Karen. We have a wonderful, kind, bright, and energetic son Ethan, who is active in Little League Baseball, Scouts, the All-City Band as a trumpeter and pianist, and currently serves as an Acolyte. Our family enjoys adventures, being in the outdoors, hiking, camping, and anytime we can be together. We also have a very sweet and wonderful dog named Bella who loves being around people and the adventures we go on as a family.
