Adult Book Study: “Grateful: The Subversive Practice of Giving Thanks”
Wednesday Evening Book/Video Study
On Wednesday evenings during Lent, starting Feb. 24 at 7pm (in place of Wired Word), we will be discussing Diane Butler Bass’s book, “Grateful: The Subversive Practice of Giving Thanks.” If gratitude is good, why is it so hard to do? In Grateful, Diana Butler Bass untangles our conflicting understandings of gratitude and sets the table for a renewed practice of giving thanks. In addition to the book, we will also be using a video series to further our study. It also makes this series accessible to those that don’t read the book! Buy the book here. Join us on Zoom (links will be emailed out the day of) for the first session on February 24th.
