It is that time of year again for Room In The Inn and we need YOU!!
This ministry serves the homeless population of our community during the winter months. The clients are housed in local hotels which are paid through the Firehouse Day Shelter through various grants, etc. Trinity's portion of this ministry is to provide lunch and dinner on certain days listed below.
Lunch is to be delivered to the day shelter before 11 am on the day you select. A sack lunch is perfect!
Dinner meals will be delivered to the client's hotel around 5:30 p.m. There are microwaves available in their rooms or in the hotel lobby. You can take them to the room (if room numbers are provided to us) or to the lobby where staff contact the client.
Specifics such as how many clients and which hotel will provided 1-2 days prior to your selected date (usually around 12 people- maybe 2 different hotels). For the dinners- individual meal with a drink – you can use the containers from Dollar Tree or there may be some containers available at the church (please contact the church at least a week prior to your date for containers).
