Trinity is hosting a blood drive Wednesday, June 25, 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Our community is in need of donors to come out and donate blood to support and secure our community blood supply. Blood Assurance is Clarksville's community blood bank, based in Tennessee, and they need our help. Their motto is Give local, Save local. The blood they collect supports 80+ hospitals in middle Tennessee including any hospital a Montgomery County resident might go to for an emergency, a surgery, a birth or cancer treatment. In addition, Blood Assurance supports any special mission, operation or deployment leaving from Fort Campbell.
Donorship is down and the need for blood continues to grow. Trinity Parish is sponsoring a blood drive in an effort to give our community and congregation an opportunity to donate and support our local hospitals. It is OUR families, OUR friends, and OUR neighbors we are supporting. We are looking for 22-25 people to book appointments and fill our schedule. Refreshments will be served.
